Central Citrus Rotary proudly presented two Paul Harris Fellow Awards to Cathy Stange and Dr.Vladimir Vlcko at an October 2007 breakfast meeting. The Paul Harris Fellow award is given when large contributions are donated to the Rotary Foundation by or on behalf of an individual. Central Citrus Rotary President Linda Cridland (right) welcomed Susan Gill, Citrus County's Supervisor of Elections, who was the speaker at a recent sunrise breakfast meeting at Black Diamond Ranch.

A $500 donation was made to the Foundation for the Citrus Memorial Health System. The money was part of the funds raised when the Club held it's semi-annual "blood Screening" services. The Foundation uses 100% of these charitable donation toward the project designated, such as for the planned Family Health Care & Education Center to be built in Lecanto. Nothing is deducted for overhead or salaries. Presenting the check are Judy Baker, Chairperson for the "Blood Screening" committee and Past-President Steve Sachewicz. Accepting the check is Chris Pool, Foundation Development Director for CMHS and an active Rotarian.
