Honor Flight Air Force Veteran

The club was very glad to have Barbara Mills back with Air Force 20+ years veteran,
Bill Riecke. Bill was a recent participant on an Honor Flight to Washington DC.
He talked about what went on the flight, visit & return to the airport in Clearwater.
They visited several sites in Washington DC including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Wall. He said the World War II site was the best. He was especially appreciative of the
volunteers who helped the veterans and the great reception honoring them on their
return to Clearwater. He also talked about how great the nurses were during his service
time and related one of his wartime experiences on the ground in Vietnam.
In the picture below are John Clardy, Bill Riecke, Barbara Mills and Hasel Carlson.
