Rotary International is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. The world's Rotary clubs are comprised of men and women who represent a cross-section of their community's businesses and professions.

Rotarians are committed to holding one another accountable to high ethical standards. The standards are embodied in the 4-Way Test, which is recited by all members at the start of every weekly meeting.

"The Four Way Test" (Of things we think say or do)

Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The Rotary International motto is "Service above self."

The Central Citrus County Rotary Club is part of Rotary District 6950 which encompasses West Central Florida from St. Petersburg to Crystal River and includes 47 separate clubs with approximately 2,400 members. For Distric Information, log on their website at: www.rotary6950.org. In Citrus County, there are five Rotary clubs, offering members the opportunity to attend morning (breakfast) or afternoon (luncheon) meetings, all of which are usually one hour in length.
